Summary
To support Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities for a federal grants management system, the part-time Technical IV&V SME will assess Appian architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, and application quality while providing objective findings and recommendations in a remote capacity.Key responsibilitiesReview Appian architecture, configuration, performance, and release documentationEvaluate AWS cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and operational readinessIdentify technical risks, document findings, and recommend corrective actionsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical architecture, IV&V, quality assurance, or enterprise technology oversightExperience with Appian, including Appian Cloud, application architecture, release management, and performanceExperience reviewing AWS cloud environments, preferably within FedRAMP or other regulated environmentsStrong understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies
