DispatcherDuration: 1 year initially with possibility of extension / go direct
Location: Midland, TX
Rotation: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Role Context
This role sits within a supply chain function supporting equipment logistics operations. The Dispatcher will work under the guidance of a Supply Chain Manager and in direct support of a Supply Chain Lead, within an operational environment that requires timely coordination of equipment to active locations. The company operates within the energy sector and is recognised as a major independent crude oil and natural gas company with operations in the United States, Canada, Trinidad, the United Kingdom and China.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate equipment requests and support timely dispatch activity to operational locations.
- Respond to incoming communications relating to equipment requests and dispatch requirements.
- Maintain accurate live records of current equipment locations and assigned assets.
- Track equipment on rent and keep dispatch logs updated with a high level of accuracy.
- Proactively identify issues, investigate discrepancies and support practical solutions.
- Communicate updates on issues and resolutions to relevant points of contact.
- Verify and document dispatch-related information clearly and consistently.
- Review vendor rental reports against internal records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Essential: High School Diploma.
- Essential: Experience with dispatching, warehouse or supply chain.
- Essential: Strong attention to detail and a high standard of data accuracy.
- Essential: Ability to investigate issues, maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Essential: Confidence working in a role that involves frequent administrative support and live operational tracking.
