Dispatcher Position Raymond West is looking for a dynamic dispatcher to join our service team! The dispatcher is responsible for scheduling field service technicians in response to customer breakdown calls and scheduled maintenance requirements.Raymond West is committed to providing our customers with end-to-end warehouse solutions. This list is not inclusive.Opens new service calls and breakdown work ordersDispatches technicians to customers utilizing GPS and related services to accomplish efficient dispatchKeeps customers informed of current service call status in accordance with proceduresPrioritize urgent, emergency and after hours calls and follow through to resolutionPrioritize and follow up on all National Account and iTrack customers, maintain and update systems as it relates to service calls and statuses and adhere to and maintain all IVR procedures and reportingReceive reports of accidents involving Raymond equipment and vehicles and promptly communicate information to appropriate personnel for actionMaintain list for customer's trucks that will not be repaired within a 24-hour timeframe and keep customer informed of repair progressionClosely review customer specific and/or any special billing notes prior to opening work orders to ensure accurate and correct billingRequired Skills/Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational time management skillsProficient in Microsoft office suite and similar softwareAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, co-workers, and managers in other departmentsMust be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate, this may include mandatory Saturdays due to business needsWilling to assume more responsibility as requiredEducation/Experience Two years dispatch experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
