Summary
Job Title
Ensures client needs and commitments are met, dispatch drivers, respond to drivers calls, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, notify drivers of assignments, maintain information on shipments, update database on all dispatched moves, other duties as assigned.
Other Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of local geographic market, accurate typing skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, responds promptly and professionally to client needs, reads, comprehends and completes basic checklists, forms or other related documents, identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, good vision and depth perception required.
Physical Requirements
Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment, vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED, minimum 1 to 3 years, related experience, minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred.
Certifications & Licenses
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 16.90 - 23 hourly.
