Summary
Our client is an established commercial general contractor in North Carolina seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee daily activities across active job sites. This role is central to keeping projects on schedule, maintaining quality workmanship, and building strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Job Responsibilities - - Develop and maintain project schedules and management timelines to keep work progressing on plan. - Coordinate all on-site activity, including subcontractor crews, equipment, and material deliveries. - Schedule and manage municipal inspections to keep projects moving without delays. - Establish and sustain clear communication with subcontractors and vendors to keep them aligned with project timelines. - Oversee on-site personnel to enforce quality workmanship in line with plan specifications. - Monitor and report budget details to the administrative team, covering change orders and contract disputes for client-approved additional work. - Enforce OSHA compliance on every job site and hold crews to leaving both interior and exterior areas tidy, organized, and hazard-free. Job Requirements - - Minimum of 3-5 years working as a commercial construction superintendent. - Able to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and material specifications. - Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to resolve conflict, perform under pressure, and adapt to changing site conditions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction scheduling software.Job Description
