Logistics Dispatcher As a Logistics Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation operations, ensuring efficient communication between drivers and clients, and managing logistical challenges. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and bring a solutions-oriented approach to daily logistics.Responsibilities:Dispatch drivers to various locations in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear directions, mapping support, and instructions.Monitor driver locations, route efficiency, and job progress to ensure on-time delivery and service compliance.Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, drivers, and field staff to maintain seamless operations and provide real-time updates.Utilize dispatch software, GPS tools, and internal systems to effectively manage schedules, plan routes, and organize documentation.Proactively resolve routing issues, delays, or logistical challenges promptly and professionally.Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of all dispatch activities, driver hours, and operational metrics.Qualifications:Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics, coordination, or supply chain management role.Computer savvy with proficiency in dispatch systems, GPS tracking tools, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is required.Solid understanding of transportation planning, routing optimization, and general supply chain processes.Strong multitasking abilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
