Ussf Fire And Emergency Services Program Manager
Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret Clearance. The is an onsite position.
Position Description: The USSF Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Program Manager provides enterprise level oversight, compliance, and strategic support for emergency response capabilities across all Space Force installations. The role connects DAF policy, HQ USSF priorities, and installation level execution to ensure operational readiness. The manager drives POM requirements, represents USSF on the DAF Fire Tier IV panel, advocates for space launch unique mission needs, and defends firefighter sufficiency levels required by the NDAA. Ideal candidates are former Air Force Fire Chiefs with Headquarters Staff experience and deep expertise in F&ES operations.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree is required.
- Fire & Emergency Services Expertise — Former AF Fire Chief or senior F&ES leader with HQ level experience.
- DAF Policy & Compliance Knowledge — Understanding of DAF fire protection standards, NDAA mandates, and enterprise governance
- Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Experience — Ability to develop, justify, and defend resourcing requirements.
- Enterprise Coordination Skills — Skilled at working with DAF, AFCEC, installations, and mission partners.
- Operational Readiness Assessment — Ability to evaluate emergency response capability and mission risk.
Preferred Skills:
- Headquarters experience with staffing approval packages for facility requirements.
- Civil Engineer experience in the US Space Force or US Air Force highly desired.
