Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to support daily operations by coordinating service schedules, communicating with customers and field teams, and helping ensure services are completed efficiently and on schedule. This role is responsible for coordinating appointments, responding to customer inquiries, following up on completed services, and supporting customer retention through proactive communication and rebooking efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily service schedules and appointments with field teams
- Communicate with field teams regarding schedules, service needs, changes, and customer requests
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages and respond to customer questions regarding services, pricing, and scheduling
- Call customers to follow up on completed services and confirm satisfaction
- Proactively contact past customers from prior years to schedule current season services
- Assist in rebooking services that customers have previously received but have not yet scheduled for the current season
- Prepare and send quotes, confirmations, and basic service information
- Maintain accurate customer records, schedules, and service history
- Monitor scheduled services and communicate changes or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Support general office operations, including light administrative and coordination tasks
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of customer service, administrative, dispatching, scheduling, or call based experience
- Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
- Comfortable making outbound calls and discussing services with customers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, scheduling systems, and CRM tools
- Experience in home services or a similar field
- Prior experience in dispatching, scheduling, or coordinating field service teams
- Experience with upselling, rebooking, or customer retention
