Summary
To support the modernization and optimization of enterprise Contract Writing Systems, the remote Business Process Subject Matter Expert (SME) will lead acquisition process mapping, provide system modernization advisory, and execute business process reengineering initiatives for federal agencies and the Department of Defense.Key responsibilitiesLead analysis and documentation of government contracting workflows from pre-award to post-award administrationServe as the functional authority on federal and DoD Contract Writing Systems, ensuring software configurations align with procurement lifecyclesIdentify inefficiencies in acquisition workflows and advise on streamlining processes using modern SaaS and Cloud Computing architecturesRequired qualifications5+ years of professional experience in federal government contracting, acquisition, or procurementHands-on SME experience with federal/DoD Contract Writing Systems such as ECWM, ACWS, CON-IT, or Navy CWSDeep knowledge of the federal procurement lifecycle, FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific acquisition supplementsExtensive experience leading Business Process Reengineering initiatives in federal contracting or financial managementProven ability to translate statutory acquisition regulations into IT system requirements and workflows
