Housing Assistant (Los Angeles, California, United States)

Assist HUD-VASH Veterans in their housing search including identifying available units, contacting landlords to arrange a tour of the property, provide transportation to tour the property, and assists the Veteran in completing the lease application process.
Assists the Veteran in obtaining deposit assistance for HUD-VASH apartment including collection of required documents, matching the Veteran with appropriate funding source, providing transportation for application process and following up with funding source to expedite payment to the landlord.
Use of government furnished motor vehicle is required to perform the duties of this position.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
