Summary
Senior Traffic EngineerGAI Consultants, Inc is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to work out of our Cranberry Township, Homestead, or Southpointe, PA offices within our Transportation Business Unit. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. The candidate must be a team player who excels in collaborative environments and has the ability to independently lead traffic tasks with complex features by work performed directly or through supervision of others. Shall be familiar with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and MUTCD design requirements. Allegheny County and City of Pittsburgh experience a plus.Responsibilities include:Leading the production and checking of technical traffic reports, design plans, design calculations, specifications, and cost opinions.Primary tasks will include traffic modeling and analysis (Highway Capacity Software, Synchro/SimTraffic, etc.), traffic signal design, signing and pavement marking design; and traffic control (Maintenance and Protection of Traffic) design.QualificationsBachelors or better in Engineering.Experience 15+ years.PTOE desired.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Possesses exceptional oral and written communication skills.MicroStation computer-aided design skills required, OpenRoads Designer experience a plus.Why GAI:At GAI, exceptional people have an exceptional place to work, grow, lead, and achieve.
