What to Expect

A Loss Prevention Analyst must have a strong passion for protecting Tesla's assets. That commitment is shown by understanding the importance of the role to the business, treating others with respect, and applying the specific nuances of loss prevention. The Analyst will work with a wide range of people and must build and maintain effective, productive relationships. The role supports the Loss Prevention Team in reviewing, deploying, and sustaining an enterprise-wide strategy to mitigate loss and improve procedures for greater operational effectiveness. The Loss Prevention Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Security Loss Prevention.

What You'll Do
  • Perform reviews within the Security Loss Prevention program; this includes ensuring outside parties are adhering to Tesla's sales terms in addition to mitigating loss business wide
  • Function as a point of contact between business partners and local, state, and government authorities at times
  • Deliver professional review results in complex, sensitive, and high-value sales transaction
  • Leverage both internal and external resources in the performance and course of duties as required
  • Conduct informational and/or investigative interviews to obtain information to confirm facts and support review findings
  • Ensure appropriate case management and integrity of case files and acquired data. Interpret investigative information and provide feedback and consultation to strengthen and improve business processes
  • Deliver professionally written reports incorporating all evidence required to support your findings and identify causal factors to facilitate post-incident reviews
What You'll Bring
  • Six Sigma Certification or Certified Fraud Examiner is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible security, asset protection, or relevant loss prevention experience
  • Working knowledge of corporate asset/loss prevention best practices is preferred
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with persons at all levels
  • Ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to emerging incidents and situations
  • Strong analytical problem solver with a passion for providing excellent customer service
