DEPUTY OPERATIONS OFFICER

Summary

Duties

Help oversee the daily execution of Brigade operations and ensures operational tasks align with the Commander's priorities.

Develop short-, mid-, and long-range strategies to support current and emerging operations.

Serve as the Deputy of Operations within the G3 Directorate of a Brigade Size unit.

Present formal and informal briefings to senior officials within the Special Operations Community to support operational decision-making.

Represent the organization at interagency forums to communicate organizational positions and coordinate studies.

Maintain liaison with Special Operations counterparts and higher headquarters to synchronize operational efforts.

Evaluate operational proposals and plans for adherence to public law, policies, and directives.

Advise the command on operational requirements from internal and external organizations and/or agencies.
