Summary
Job Title
Knowledge of county geography and roads. Knowledge of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) communication codes preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with administrators, bus drivers, school staff and parents. Ability to work effectively with school system staff and parents. Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement corrective action. Knowledge of office procedures and practices. Ability to maintain accurate records. Basic computer skills. Ability to handle emergency situations.
To maintain accurate records and radio/telephone communications with bus operators and others.
1. High school or vocational school diploma or equivalent.
2. Three (3) years experience driving a school bus and in transportation routing.
3. Experience in the use of a two-way radio.
4. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
Support Personnel. Pay Grade 4-6. Two hundred twenty days - two hundred fifty days worked per year (11-12 months). FLSA Non-Exempt.
