So-wherever you're from-come join our crew!Essential Functions and Responsibilities Enforce safety and security policies and proceduresAssist in first aid emergencies and respond to fire alarmsCheck and verify associates' badges and inspect items exiting facilityIssue temporary, visitor and contracted service badges and follow up on their return.Arm and disarm system and respond to burglar alarmsIssue parking permits and rectify parking violationsMaintain inbound/outbound trailer logsEnforce pin-lock and seal control of trailersConduct inbound / outbound / Factory audits in efforts to identify potential risk exposuresConduct daily facility walk-thru to detect and prevent losses and identify safety hazardsGather and transport proprietary information for destructionDistribute access keys and maintain key logMaintain Lost and FoundMaintain CCTV Surveillance for interior/exterior of facilityTransport associates for bank deposits, medical assistance and offsite drug testObserve all associates, vendors, visitors after hours to their vehiclesAssist in monitoring of powered industrial equipment operatorsAssist LP Supervisor/Manager in special projects as requestedPrepare and submit Daily Activity Log, Incident and Accident reports to supervisorCommunicate with management on issues that need immediate resolutionCommunicate on daily basis all findings during auction researchMaintain accurate records and entries into Monthly ReportMaintain monthly support function reportingMaintain a professional demeanor when communicating with associates and visitorsUnderstand team objectives within assigned work areaAdhere to specific dress code / uniformApply basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work areaReport to work as scheduled, using time clock systemComplete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managerMust be flexible with duties to assist other LP representatives during busy periodsEducation & Experience High School diploma or GED required; some college preferredPrevious Loss Prevention or security experience helpfulNo prior felony or serious misdemeanor convictionsMust have a valid drivers licenseBasic keyboarding skills; computer literate (proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word)Skills & Abilities Good problem solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityStrong communication skills – verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of individuals (hourly associates to senior leadership)Excellent interpersonal skills; people-oriented individualAbility to work in a team environment (team player)Quality conscious and detail orientedAbility to multi-taskNeat, orderly appearanceMust be very flexible/adaptable - will be required to assist other LP representatives in other areas and work overtime and extended hours, as neededUnderstand and follow verbal and written instructionsPhysical Requirements Stand, walk and move for the majority of work shiftThis position will also require you to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stoop; ability to climb stairsAdjust to climate changes; hot and cold extremes may occur in warehouse (outside work will be required at times so must have ability to adjust to outside climates)Ability to type and read computer screenWorking Conditions Distribution Center / Warehouse with some office and outside environmentThis Position Description covers only the Essential Functions for this position.
