Summary
Shift - 3pm-11pmPerforms core functions of the Client Security Operations Center (SOC); monitors and remediates intrusion alarms, dispatches law enforcement/first responders to security incidents, answers and prioritizes incoming emergency and routine security event calls, logs personnel into substations, and manages the status of site intrusion systems. Writes incident reports documenting security events, makes required notifications, and maintains shift activity logs. Identifies security system issues, creates service requests for repairs, and validates corrective maintenance. Performs activity-specific actions as outlined in SOC Policies and Procedures, adheres to compliance requirements, and executes regulatory procedures.This SOC Operator position is a fixed shift role supporting 24/7 operations.Location: Kennett Square, PAAccountabilitiesMonitor and remediate intrusion detection alarmsAnswer, prioritize, and respond to telephonic security incident reportsManage and log site entry/exit and system disarm eventsWrite and submit detailed security incident reportsSubmit service requests for security system repairs and validate completed workPerform and document system checks and video surveillance toursProvide forensic investigative support using video and access control systemsPerform administrative tasks related to ESOC operationsPosition SpecificationsGeneral:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to produce clear, grammatically correct, and professional business communicationsAbility to work effectively under high-stress conditions and respond rapidly to life safety and security incidentsCore Technical:Demonstrated proficiency with systems such as CCure 9000E, ExacqVision, Andover Continuum, Pelco Control Point, Compass, DMP, D3, JIRA, PassagePoint, Client Alert, Microsoft Office Suite, and other SOC-related platformsCore Business Knowledge:Understanding of Client organizational structureKnowledge of CSOC Policies and ProceduresFamiliarity with NERC CIP policies and proceduresKnowledge of substation operations and CISS policies and proceduresEducation:Associate degree required, or High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of security systems or IT experiencePosition Scope: Supports the CSOC in achieving its core mission of protecting Client's critical infrastructure, assets, and personnel through continuous (24/7) monitoring of physical security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and security communications IND123
