Salary: $79,850.62 – $101,593.55Position Summary: The Sheriff's Office is seeking certified Illinois Correctional Officers to join our growing team of professional deputies. Qualified applicants must currently be employed by a county or state agency within the State of Illinois as a full-time Correctional Officer for at least 2 years and currently certified in the State of Illinois and in good standing with current agency. Lateral testing is being conducted on an on-going basis. Applicants may apply to take the test at their convenience and there is no end date for lateral applicants.Requirements: Must be currently employed in the State of Illinois as a Correctional Deputy Sheriff, Municipal Correctional Officer or Illinois State Correctional OfficerHave two years of full-time, continuous experience with the same correctional agency where currently employedBe certified as a full-time correctional deputy in the State of IllinoisBe in good standing will current employerBackground Check to include polygraphPsychological/Medical Exam to include drug testing#J-18808-Ljbffr
