Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data. Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. Serves as a Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO), a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO). Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (5205.07 & JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or 32 United States Code of Federal Regulations, Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
Day to Day duties will include but will not be limited to:
Working with the CSSO's with preparing SAP/SCI nomination packages
Monitor and track foreign travel
Classified document and media control to include maintenance of logs and movement
Administrative security functions such as organizing and filing documentation
Maintaining all end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs
Assist with physical security task to include escorting
Process and track all incoming visitors
Participate in self-inspection preparation and supporting government inspections
Assigned to the vestibule window for all customers & employees coming to the security office for assistance
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Current Top Secret security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation closed date and confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation/ Continuous Vetting (CE/CV)
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) when/if the mission requirements dictate access
Familiar with working in classified environments with classified materials and equipment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills
Knowledge of DoD 5205.07, DoD 5105.07, ICD 705 and other DoD policy and regulations.
Knowledge of Advanced Program security requirements, Operations Security (OPSEC) and Program Protection Plans.
Experience as media custodian
ICD 705 construction certification
Works well independently and in group settings with CSSO experience
The successful completion of CDSE SAP mid-level management course pre-requisites is preferred or must be completed within 1 year of employment
Excellent written, verbal and customer interface skills
Ability to multi- task and remain organized; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
