Role Description The Security Officer role at Erskine Levi is a full-time, on-site position based in Glendora, CA. In this role, the Security Officer monitors premises, conducts regular patrols, and controls access to facilities to ensure the safety of people and property. Daily responsibilities include observing and reporting any suspicious activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and completing detailed incident and activity logs. The Security Officer may assist with visitor management, enforce site policies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed. The role requires consistent adherence to safety procedures, professional conduct, and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and the public.
Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to monitor premises, perform regular patrols, and manage access control in a professional manner.
Strong observation, situational awareness, and reporting skills, including accurate documentation of incidents and daily activities.
Capability to respond calmly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms while following established protocols.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients, visitors, and team members in a respectful, service-oriented way.
Reliability in following security procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding ethical and legal standards.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks associated with safety and security duties.
Prior security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is beneficial.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security certifications or guard licenses (as required by California regulations) are a plus.
Willingness to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
