Position Title: Campus Security Officer

Location: Academy of Innovation

Hours/Days: 2.00 hr. (Split Shift 7:30 a.m. - 8 a.m. & 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. | 5 days per week | Monday - Friday

Work Year: School Session (195 paid days)

Salary: $25.29 - $30.76 per hour (Classified Salary Schedule)

• Updated Resume (Detailed, updated resume (relevant to this position) and work experience information is REQUIRED, as it will be factored for the recruitment process and salary placement)
• Possession of the SB 1626 Campus Security Course Certificate (Lifetime Certification)
• 40-Hour BSIS Guard Card (Current): this includes 8 hours (Power to arrest/Weapons of Mass Destruction), 16 hours (Public relations, liability, report writing, communications), 16 hours (Arrests, Search and Seizure, Trespass, Laws & Ordinances, etc.)
• Proof of completion of the following:
  • NIMS IS-100 Introduction to the Incident Command System
  • NIMS IS-200 Incident Command System for Single Resources
  • NIMS IS-700 National Incident Management System
  • NIMS IS-800 National Response Framework
