You can make a difference in your community by supporting people facing homelessness or housing insecurity.Join Heading Home Corps as a Housing Resource Navigator and you'll spend your days at a nonprofit organization or public agency that has a mission in housing advocacy, social services, and/or public assistance. We'll train you to help individuals obtain safe, stable housing and support you every step of the way!How does it work? You'll regularly meet with participants and provide guidance as they navigate resources, set housing-related goals, and develop action plans. Contact us at 866-859-2825 orjoin@ampact.us.Core ResponsibilitiesFoster strong relationships with participantsGuide participants in creatng housing-related goalsTrack participant progressConnect participants with social service resources and programsCommit to your own growth through training and professional developmentShare your experience with the communityEssential QualificationsBy the time you begin your service with Heading Home Corps, you should be:Dependable and have a history of good attendanceAble to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitmentProficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalentA citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United StatesAbility to succesfully complete a background checkScheduleWe are currently hiring for the 2026-27 program year. Positions run September 2026-July 2027.40 hours per weekDaytime hoursMonay - FridayTime off on holidaysPart-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!Compensation & Perks PackageFull-timeAmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks.About our OrganizationHeading Home Corpsis powered by incredibleAmeriCorpsmembers who are on a mission to help more Minnesotans achieve stable housing.
