This position investigates complaints, conducts inspections, documents violations, issues notices and citations, works with property owners to achieve compliance, and testifies in court when necessary.Duties:Investigate complaints and conduct property inspections for code compliance.Document violations and maintain accurate enforcement records.Issue notices and citations when violations are identified.Communicate County codes and requirements to property owners, residents, and the public.Work with property owners and other parties to correct violations and achieve compliance.Follow up on violations and conduct re-inspections as needed.Attend court proceedings and provide testimony regarding enforcement actions.Assist with enforcement of other County codes as assigned.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.Ability to interpret, explain, and enforce County codes andregulations.Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, andcustomer service skills.Ability to work with the involved parties when a code violation occursto make sure all violations are brought up to code.Ability to work professionally with the public, including in potentiallydifficult situations.Proficiency with computers and standard office software.Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.Valid driver's license;Ability to pass background check and drug screen.#J-18808-Ljbffr
