Municipal Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Regional Michigan Office
Employment Type: Full-Time internship
For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add a Municipal Internto help us keep building.
What You'll Do
- Assist in designing water mains, sanitary sewers, and roadways for local municipalities.
- Perform design calculations, develop cost estimates, and draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Participate in site visits to gather data and observe field conditions.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple offices and disciplines.
- Contribute to real projects that improve infrastructure and public services.
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is helpful but not required.
