We're seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer (PE) to join our team in a remote/hybrid role supporting projects across North Florida.
This position is remote, with candidates required to reside in Florida within the Panhandle to Jacksonville to Gainesville region to support coordination and occasional site visits.
What You'll Do
- Design and support fire protection and life safety systems
- Prepare and seal calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Apply NFPA, IBC, and Florida Building Code requirements
- Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, clients, and AHJs
- Support projects from design through construction
What We Are Looking For
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
- 5-10 years of fire protection engineering experience
- Active Fire Protection license in Florida
- Strong knowledge of NFPA and building codes
- Experience with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems
- H1B sponsorship not available
