PATROL OFFICER

Summary

The City of Farmington Police Department is seeking motivated, community-minded individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Police Patrolman. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a meaningful career in public service, protecting and serving our community with integrity and professionalism.

Position: Police Patrolman (Entry-Level)

Location: Farmington, AR

Salary: $54,251.07/annual; Position and salary increase based on experience and/or education.

Schedule: Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities: Protect life, property, and public safety Enforce local and state laws Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle Prepare reports and documentation Engage positively with community members

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (college coursework a plus) Must be minimum of 21 years of age Valid drivers license Ability to pass background investigation, medical exam, and psychological evaluation Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
