This is done through supervision of the youth and teaching new ways of dealing with situations and people. Provide physical, medical, and emotional care to the youth while they are in the facility. Responsibilities will include maintaining proper supervision, interpersonal relations, and public social skills.Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the complete job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Position Requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D.Some college or bachelor's degree in related field preferred with three (3) semester hours of college level study in adolescent development, psychology, or a related field or forty-five (45) hours in documented training in child care or child development or One (1) year of experience as a youth care worker or house parent in a facility serving youth of the same age.Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.Must be at least 21 years of age.Certifications / Licenses:Possess a valid Kansas driver's license.Compensation within the listed pay range is tailored to relatable and transferrable experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
