Day in the Life of a Fire Protection Intern
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs.
As a fire protection intern at Bell, you can expect to:
Assist in design and analysis of fire protection systems
Code and Standards Compliance
Conduct Fire Risk Assessments
Testing and Inspections
Provide project support
Communicate and Coordinate
Data collection and analysis
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Fire Protection required.
Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience
Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 – August 7, 2026.
3.0 GPA Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates that are rising Sophomore or Junior classification during the 2025 internship.
