About the Opportunity

You'll join an experienced consulting team in a collaborative, mission-driven environment that encourages curiosity and hands on learning. As a Software Implementation Consultant, you'll work on meaningful projects that help public sector organizations modernize essential systems across healthcare, aerospace, defense, and public safety.

At Icertis, you'll learn from certified experts and mentors while gaining practical experience with enterprise SaaS delivery early in your career. Through training, platform certifications, and real project work, you'll build skills in technology, AI, business processes, and client consulting. You'll earn Icertis certifications that strengthen your long-term career in SaaS and grow into roles such as Functional Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Solution Architect as your expertise develops.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in our Northern Virginia office (5 days per week).

  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrate learning agility and adaptability with new tools and processes.
  • Show interest in SaaS consulting and a desire to build trust with public sector clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with an experienced consulting team to support client onboarding at Icertis ICI.
  • Support pre-implementation workshops to better understand their product requirements, support system demos, and user training sessions with guidance from senior consultants.
  • Contribute to project documentation, data reporting, and client communications.
  • Assist with solution configuration, testing, design activities, to align Icertis solutions with client needs.
  • Learn about client AI requirements and Icertis AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, CloudOps) to support quality delivery.
  • Learn how government processes and security requirements translate into SaaS solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science Business, Information Management, Information Technology, Business Analyst or related technical field.
  • Prior experience with government contractors or federal agencies in our industry during internships or through work is highly desirable. Prior exposure to software delivery, process improvement through projects or coursework is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in the practical application of AI tools, with hands-on experience gained through coursework, internships, projects, research, or self-directed learning (e.g., using AI tools to automate workflows, analyze data, build prototypes, or enhance software implementations beyond basic usage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to work with curiosity to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global team environment.
  • Interest in technology consulting, SaaS platforms, or enterprise business applications.
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting U.S. public sector transformation.
