Overview

Salary Range $43,000.00 - $550.00 Salary

Description

Under the supervision and oversight of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer Liaison will follow the site POST Orders for any given site where they are assigned or scheduled. The Security Officer Liaison will provide Security services in collaboration with the Security Officer Supervisor and Security Agency Officers. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Essential Duties:

  • Transition from Day to Night shift and or Night to Day shift.
  • Bag check and Bag storage.
  • Searches of Dorms.
  • Premise patrols.
  • Building business hours closing procedures.
  • Patient Head Counts.
  • Maintain the Vehicle Key check out/in logs.
  • Maintain the Storage logs.
  • Maintain the Hot Box log.
  • Maintain the safety and security of the building, staff, and clients.
  • Complete and turn in Incident Reports for shifts worked.
  • Although shifts for the position will be on a daily, day-time basis, there could be rare occasions where weekend, nighttime, or special event coverage could be required.
  • Document daily activity on digital logs.
  • Read and send emails using Outlook.
  • Attend and complete all mandatory training requirements.
  • Review "Post Orders" and Site Policies and Procedures.
  • Conflict resolution/ De-escalation.
Qualifications

Basic Knowledge and Skills:

  • 21 years or older.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Minimum 1 years of Security Guard Experience, and 1 year of healthcare facility experience highly preferred.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite, emphasis on MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Able to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Requires a current Arizona Department of Safety Clearance Card and/or Guard Card.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Position requires extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • Position requires regular bending and reaching.
  • Able to adapt to rapid, unpredictable workflow.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with the underserved population is preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Update on vaccinations.
  • Exposure to clinical and respite environments.
