The Clinton County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Sheriff. Position requires a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D from a recognized issuing agency. Applicant must be a United States citizen. Must be eligible and meet the requirements to attend either the full 19 week Act 2 training or the 2 week Act 2 waiver program for Act 120 certified applicants. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, demanding physical tests and training requirements. Candidates may be subject to physical risk from violence, hazardous materials and extreme weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to complete additional training provided by the employer.

Starting Salary is $38,304.00 (Grade G). Increase in Salary to $40,335.00 (Grade I) upon successful completion of state mandated training.
