It's real, high-stakes mission work, backed by a team and a benefits package that takes care of you while you take care of the mission.About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Recruiter with 5–8 years of experience to lead full-lifecycle recruiting for both technical and cleared positions supporting our Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable sourcing hard-to-find candidates with specialized clearances as they are screening for deep technical competencies in fields like cyber, data science, software engineering, and systems integration.You will partner directly with program managers, capture teams, and hiring leads to build talent pipelines that support proposal efforts and active contract staffing, often under tight deadlines and with strict compliance requirements around clearance verification and citizenship.What You'll DoOwn full-cycle recruiting (intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing) for a mix of cleared and technical roles across active and pursuit contractsPartner with hiring managers and program leads to translate contract labor categories (LCATs) and statement-of-work requirements into effective sourcing strategiesSource passive candidates with active or historical clearances through channels tailored to the IC/DoD space (cleared job boards, referral networks, security-clearance-focused events, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.)Screen candidates for both technical qualifications and clearance status/adjudication history, ensuring alignment with contract and facility security requirementsSupport proposal and capture efforts by identifying and pre-qualifying candidates to meet named-candidate or contingent-hire requirements on bidsMaintain accurate, compliant candidate data in the ATS, including clearance level, polygraph status, and investigation datesBuild and maintain long-term talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill labor categories (e.g., All-Source Analysts, Cyber Threat Analysts, Software Engineers with specific clearance levels)Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarking, and time-to-fill expectations specific to cleared talent marketsEnsure all recruiting activities comply with OFCCP, EEO, and any applicable government contracting requirementsRepresent the company at cleared job fairs, industry days, and networking events as neededWhat You Bring5–8 years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with a significant portion supporting government contractors, the Intelligence Community, or DoD customersDemonstrated experience recruiting for both cleared positions (any level — Secret through TS/SCI/Poly) and technical roles (software, cyber, data, systems engineering, etc.)Working knowledge of clearance types, reciprocity, and adjudication timelines, and how they affect sourcing and time-to-fillFamiliarity with contract labor categories (LCATs) and how they map to job requirements and pricingExperience supporting proposal/capture recruiting (identifying named candidates, building contingent offer packages) is a strong plusProficiency with an ATS (Paylocity) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, cleared job boards such as ClearanceJobs, etc.)Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable advising program managers and senior leadership on hiring strategy and market realitiesExcellent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive candidate information (clearance status, PII)Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredNice to HaveExperience recruiting for a specific IC agency customer set (e.g., NSA, CIA, DIA, NGA, or combatant command support)At Pueo, we take care of our team — comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with a Cigna PPO network, including an HSA-eligible plan option, with the company covering 75% of premiums for both employee and family coverage.
