Personnel Security Analyst / Adjudicator – MidThe Full Performance Security Analyst operates with minimal guidance on all but the most complex cases. Building upon the foundational skills of the Junior level, this role manages a higher volume of cases and takes a more active lead in the appeals and legal documentation process. The incumbent is expected to be a subject matter expert in personnel security policies within compartmented environments.Clearance:TS/SCI w Full Scope PolygraphLocation:Herndon, VAResponsibilities:Advanced Case Management: Effectively manage a caseload of over 80 cases in parallel stages of processing, while maintaining the required 23 completed cases per month average.Adjudicative Actions: Prepare Statements of Reasons (SOR), investigative files, and First Level Review recommendations.Appeals Support: Conduct personal appearances for Appellants according to Appeals Staff procedures.Collaborative Interviews: Partner with SMEs to conduct interviews to clarify complex facts or elicit additional information for final adjudication.Mentorship: Provide on-the-job training to new team members and Developmental level colleagues.Minimum Requirements:Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree + 3 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 5 years of relevant experience.Security Expertise: Prior adjudicative experience supporting the Clearance Division and experience working within compartmented programs.Analytical Depth: Proven ability to handle a large, complex workload with high personal integrity.Communication: Advanced writing and briefing skills capable of synthesizing multi-source data into supportable final reports.#J-18808-Ljbffr
