Primary Job FunctionsSupervises and monitors access system, intrusion/fire alarms, emergency phones and CCTV systemManages all incoming telephone communications from complexResponsible for communicating emergency information to DC Security OperationsMaintains an activity log documenting all information relevant to tasks performedReviews all shift paperwork for completeness and accuracy, also responsible for the proper filing of all shift paperworkMaintains records, and creates access related to the complex card access systemConducts maintenance audits of security equipment i.e., CCTV, alarm systems etcAssist with Security Investigations and provide detailed information to DC Management regarding card access and CCTV video.Documents all Loss Prevention activities at the gates/lobbies as required by established Loss Prevention proceduresCompletes incident reports to document Security Loss Prevention related issues. Forwards reports to Security management/Supervision for follow up.Responsible for emergency notification to Police and Fire departments, and dispatching security personnel for emergency response.Monitors Yard Management System (PINC) making needed adjustmentsMonitors and adjusts all inbound and outbound complex traffic, using Google DocumentsPerforms other related duties as assignedAnswer telephone calls, tactfully handle inquiries and transfer to appropriate partyTechnical Knowledge And Organizational SkillsCustomer Service experience requiredProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Security CCTV System Knowledge requiredAbility to work independently/ability to work through a situation in the absence of the Loss Prevention SupervisorSound judgment in decision making and problem solving.Strong conflict resolution skillsAbility to work effectively with all levels of associates and managementStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to lead and influence othersHigh degree of initiative; proven team player, excellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to manage confidential informationMust be able to multitaskOperational AwarenessSits for extended periods of timeMost work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature-controlled environmentWorkday is fast paced;Weekend/nights as business dictatesWhy You Will Choose UsAlbertsons Companies Inc. has always been a people-oriented business, and thoughtful people practices remain a core element of our company's philosophy.
