Operations Specialist InstructorMayvin Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist Instructor to provide instruction to students enrolled in "A" and "C" schools at the United States Coast Guard Training Center (USCG TRACEN) in Petaluma, CA. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to pass a Background Investigation (BI) Hourly Rate: $30.00/hr + $4.93/hr Health & Welfare. Responsibilities include:Prepare personnel for real-world operations by strengthening their ability to respond to emergencies and operate effectively in command environmentsDeliver instruction in accordance with USCG standards through classroom, laboratory, seminar, discussion, lecture, demonstration, and practical exercise formatsProvide hands-on training in SAR equipment, technologies, techniques, procedures, and best practicesTeach topics such as mission planning, search patterns, rescue operations, and resource coordinationTrain students to operate within command centers, emphasizing communication, decision-making, situational awareness, workflows, and protocolsInstruct on tools and systems used for real-time tracking, field-unit coordination, and crisis managementEmphasize ground operations skills, including navigation, terrain analysis, and integration of land assets into SAR and command operationsAddress operational challenges unique to land-based rescue and command environmentsDevelop and deliver training programs that blend classroom instruction with scenario-based practical exercisesEvaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
