Service Dispatcher Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted provider of commercial trade services, supporting new construction, tenant improvements, and a wide range of service projects. We are currently seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our team and help coordinate daily operations for our service technicians under the direction of department management.The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing work schedules, monitoring GPS activity, and coordinating work orders and callbacks to ensure efficient service delivery. This role is essential in maintaining clear communication between customers, technicians, and internal teams while helping keep projects on track and running smoothly.ScheduleSunday - Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a training schedule of Monday - Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.ResponsibilitiesReceive and process inbound customer emails and service technician callsProvide informative and proactive customer serviceTake detailed work order notes and communicate relevant information to internal teamsSchedule and coordinate service calls within department guidelinesCreate work orders and support documentation to complete service requestsMonitor technician workflow and job site progressFollow-up with service technicians, service managers and account managers regarding work orders, callbacks and paperworkMonitor and document GPS on service technicians and provide accurate estimated time of arrivalsPerform other clerical duties as assigned by the department supervisorRequirementsMinimum of one year of administrative experienceMust possess accurate data entry skills with the ability to type 35 WPM with no errorsAbility to multitask and prioritize workflowStrong attention to detail and time management skillsTerminology knowledge in plumbing, electrical or construction is desired but not requiredAbout the CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical, plumbing and HVAC solutions across California and other states.
