Deputy Field Organizer – Voter OutreachNorth Shore Strategies is seeking Deputy Field Organizers to support Democratic campaign efforts throughout Schenectady, NY. This is a field-based position primarily responsible for door-to-door canvassing and direct conversations with voters.Deputy Field Organizers will work alongside campaign and field leadership to carry out voter-contact programs, communicate campaign messages, identify supporters, collect voter feedback, and help campaigns meet daily organizing goals.This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in political organizing and build toward future opportunities as Field Organizers, Regional Organizers, or campaign staff.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct door-to-door canvassing and speak directly with votersCommunicate campaign messages clearly and persuasivelyIdentify supporters, undecided voters, and voter concernsRecord voter-contact data accurately using campaign technologyMeet assigned daily door-knocking and voter-contact goalsParticipate in daily briefings, trainings, and debriefsSupport field leadership with grassroots organizing activitiesRepresent North Shore Strategies and our clients professionally in the communityQualificationsComfortable walking door-to-door and initiating conversations with votersStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work toward measurable goalsAble to canvass outdoors for extended periods and in varying weatherAvailable for a minimum of 3 shifts per week while the program is activeInterest in political campaigns, grassroots organizing, or Democratic politicsPrior canvassing, organizing, sales, customer service, or community engagement experience is a plus, but not requiredAbout North Shore StrategiesNorth Shore Strategies is a New York-based political consulting firm with a national presence, providing campaign strategy, digital media production, targeted canvassing, direct mail, and grassroots organizing services.
