Summary
Ramp Agent
We are seeking a dedicated Ramp Agent to join our team. The Ramp Agent will be responsible for loading and unloading luggage, cargo, and other items from aircraft to ensure timely departures and arrivals. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload luggage, cargo, and other items from aircraft.
- Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel to coordinate tasks.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols when handling baggage and operating equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the ramp.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all types of weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
