Bazco Petroleum Transport Texas Division, LLC is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our operations team. This fast-paced position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Previous dispatch experience is required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Dispatcher is responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing, directing, and monitoring daily transportation operations. This position works closely with drivers, customers, supervisors, and management to ensure trucks and drivers are properly scheduled and transportation services are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
The Dispatcher will also assist with DOT compliance, dispatch administration, recordkeeping, and other operational duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch operations.
- Schedule drivers and equipment according to customer and operational needs.
- Monitor truck and driver availability and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Coordinate deliveries by evaluating routes, destinations, customer requirements, and timelines.
- Track driver activity and maintain communication throughout each shift.
- Respond to delays, breakdowns, scheduling changes, and other operational issues.
- Complete dispatch documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate dispatch, driver, truck, and customer records.
- Assist with DOT compliance and required administrative tasks.
- Protect confidential company, employee, driver, and customer information.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, drivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
- Provide excellent customer service while meeting operational performance goals.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain reliable attendance and dependable work performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS — REQUIRED
- Previous dispatch experience
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Understanding of DOT and transportation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
QUALIFICATIONS — PREFERRED
- Oilfield transportation dispatch experience
- Petroleum transportation experience
- Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation documentation
- Experience with ELD/GPS or transportation management systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
