Summary:The Criminal Intelligence Analyst - Digital Forensic Lab is responsible for conducting digital forensic examinations. Applicants are expected to apply the methodologies of digital forensics to extract and interpret data from digital devices in support of active criminal investigations. Candidates for this position must have strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and presentations skills, as well as experience in oral briefings for reporting to senior law enforcement and court testimony.Essential Duties:General understanding of digital forensic analysis and methodologies.Understanding of Digital Forensic Applications (EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite)Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS & Android operating systems.Experience repairing, trouble shooting, assembling/disassembling digital devices.Must be self - motivated & able to work in a team.Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.Creative problem-solving capabilities.Proficient in use of MS Word and office productivity applications.Ability to work flexible shifts (when needed).Required to satisfactorily complete a background check.Education & Experience:Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificate in digital forensic studies, criminal justice, or related discipline or any equivalent combination of experience, training, and education that clearly demonstrates an ability to succeed in this position.
