About the Role:

DAI, INC is looking for dedicated and professional Event Security personnel to join our team in Frederick, MD. We are looking for immediate help at the Great Frederick Fair September 18- September 26, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments where your presence makes a real difference in keeping people safe and events running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access points at event venues to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas

Conduct crowd management and maintain order throughout the duration of events

Perform bag checks, ID verification, and screening procedures as required

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies

Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed

Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or security threats

Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue rules and regulations

Requirements:

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred

Must have Maryland Security Guard card, or willing to take course on Sept 12, 2026

Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods of time

Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance

Valid security license or willingness to obtain required certifications

Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a background check
