Summary

Deliver advanced Electromagnetic Warfare (EMW) instruction in classroom, laboratory, and shipboard environmentsTrain operators and technicians on the tactical and operational employment of the AN/SLQ‑32(V) system family and Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT)Conduct hands‑on instruction using embedded training systems including BEWT I/II, SEWTT, ACTS, BFTT, and ATDGuide students in system configuration, threat recognition, and tactical decision‑makingProvide training in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault isolationMentor junior instructors and support curriculum development, training materials, and instructional best practicesCoordinate with Fleet Readiness Coordinators and ship's force to plan and execute EMW training eventsConduct shipboard training as part of a mobile training team, including underway evolutions as requiredMaintain training documentation, assessments, and post‑event reportsEnsure training meets Navy standards, safety requirements, and operational proceduresTravel to support fleet training events and shipboard evolutionsRequirements6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experienceExperience as a Cryptologic Technician Technical (CTT) or equivalent EMW operational backgroundExperience with sea duty supporting shipboard Electromagnetic Warfare operationsExperience deploying overseas in support of operational fleet missionsDemonstrated experience training, instructing, or mentoring sailors in EMW systems or operationsWorking knowledge of the AN/SLQ‑32(V) system family and Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT)Experience with embedded training systems including BEWT I/II, SEWTT, ACTS, BFTT, and ATDAbility to perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault isolation in EMW environmentsAbility to lead or support small training teams and operate independently in shipboard environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)U.S. CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance to startCore CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in Electromagnetic Warfare instruction, including training on the AN/SLQ‑32(V) system family and Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT).
