Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Practitioner Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance. Program Description: We are seeking a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Practitioner to support technical risk assessments, digital counterexploitation, and physical security evaluations to ensure compliance with Intelligence Community and DoD security standards. The mission emphasizes identifying, mitigating, and preventing technical vulnerabilities while supporting national security objectives through proactive security assessments and modernization initiatives.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), Foreign Visit support, Gift Inspections, and Digital Counterexploitation activities.
- Conduct signal detection and analysis during TSCM surveys and Integrated Physical and Monitoring System (IPMS) operations.
- Perform technical risk assessments and evaluate electronic equipment for security vulnerabilities, recommending corrective actions to mitigate risk.
- Analyze complex physical and technical security issues to ensure compliance with ICD 705, DoD security standards, and agency policies.
- Develop and deliver technical security plans, TSCM reports of inquiry, briefings, and after-action reports.
- Prepare required program documentation, correspondence, and reporting in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Support ongoing TSCM program modernization efforts while providing technical guidance and security expertise to internal stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- HS + 7 years of experience in technical security or technical document editing
- Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification
- Assurance Technician Level II (IAT2) compliant (within 12 months of start date)
