General Overview APEX TK is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer for Threat Discrimination to join our team! In this role you will provide systems technical analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities for the identification of lethal objects.What You'll Be Doing: Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry teamProvide technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA's Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination DirectorateDevelop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilitiesWhat Required Skills You'll Bring: Master's Degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 12 years of experienceMinimum Active Secret clearance requiredAbility to quickly qualify for an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance if you do not possess oneExpertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, object classification and electronic protectionExperience in systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedulesExperience in conducting technical performance assessments and resulting risk analysis and mitigation developmentExperience in electronic attack/protection modeling development to support analysis and requirements developmentExperience in developing technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program officesWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring: Active Top Secret/SCI clearanceKnowledge of MDA systems engineering processesProgram management certification (DAU, PMP, etc.)Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals to include radar limitationsKnowledge of electro-optic fundamentalsKnowledge of radar hardware and design#J-18808-Ljbffr
