Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced, highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Licensed Dispatcher/Scheduler to join our Flight Department. This critical role is responsible for the end-to-end planning,arrangement, and coordination of travel requirements for company personnel, guests, and flight crew. The successful candidate will manage both company-owned aircraft, making high-stakes, time-sensitive decisions regarding safety, security, personnel, and cost-efficiency. This position requires a professional capable of communicating seamlessly with executive-level management and maintaining composure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Planning & Safety Management
- Plan and schedule travel on company aircraft in strict compliance with FAA, ICAO, and company regulations.
- Review NOTAMs, weather forecasts, and airport restrictions to ensure optimal routing and timing.
- Conduct risk assessments for all coordinated flights and work with crews to develop effective mitigation plans.
- Initiate operational waivers in conjunction with the company Safety Management System (SMS) when necessary.
- Maintain a continuous flight-following system to ensure the safety of flight and smooth coordination of services.
International Operations & Compliance
- Coordinate with international handlers and government agencies to secure overflight/landing permits, slots, and customs requirements.
- Manage visa and passport processing for crew members and advise passengers on required vaccinations and international documentation.
- Ensure all aircraft/fleet documents, manuals, and crew credentials (medical, immunizations, etc.) remain current and compliant.
- Manage the payment of international airway, navigation, and duty fees.
Logistical & Administrative Coordination
- Coordinate all trip logistics, including catering, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation.
- Schedule flight crews to ensure compliance with duty limits and FAA regulations, emphasizing fatigue management and work/life balance.
- Act as a liaison between management, flight crews, and external service providers (FBOs, caterers, maintenance).
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining sensitive flight records, processing accounts payable, and assisting with budget preparation and SIFL/IRS/SEC reporting.
Emergency & Maintenance Support
- Participate in all Emergency Response Plan (ERP) drills and maintain emergency contact databases.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance with the Maintenance Manager to minimize impact on travel schedules.
- Remain available for after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls to provide flight following or passenger assistance.

Minimum requirements:
- Licensure: Valid FAA Dispatcher License (or equivalent international authorization).
- Experience: 3+ years Corporate Licensed Dispatch /Scheduler with a proven experience in flight scheduling, dispatch, or aviation logistics.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with FAA and ICAO regulations, as well as international travel procedures.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in flight scheduling software and other aviation-related programs.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with Executive Leadership and Executive Assistants.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Flexibility to handle after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls/duties as required by flight operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and IS-BAO/BASC Standards
- Knowledge of international customs, visa, and permit processes.
- Strong financial acumen for managing departmental budgets and cost-saving negotiations (e.g., fuel contracts).
