You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.Internship responsibilities may include:The Summer Intern will assist the northeast team in the planning and execution of a variety of strategic initiatives that serve to engage local elected officials and other important stakeholders in advancing the needs of the business. Responsibilities include but are not limited toCoordinate activities and resources for projects that impact the local Government Affairs teamAssist with outreach to elected officesResearch for briefing documents, meetingsAssist with data tracking in Excel and maintaining tracking databases of events, invitations, RSVPs, and reporting.Produce detailed project materials including letters, presentations, programs, flyers, etc.Assist in office management and regular administrative duties including printing, e-filing etc.Performing other related duties as assignedRequired qualificationsMust be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between of May 2028 to May 2029Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degreeMust have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current programAbility to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the programAuthorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsStrong writing and communications skillsGood organizational and project management skills, attention to detailInterest in government, telecommunications and/or public policyPassion for media, politics and current events#LI-WP1GGN100 2026-81724 2026Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers.
