Defense Composite Technician

Summary

This position is located in Wichita, KS

Description:

• While working on-site in Wichita, KS, perform composite fabrication for the production of the U.S. military's newest military aircraft

• Complete composite layup, vacuum bagging, sanding, and cutting

• Utilize various composite fabrication techniques, autoclave, and bagging materials to complete production

• Self-inspect components, performing rework when necessary

• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to work full-time in Wichita, KS

• 2+ years of composite layup experience (aerospace preferred, but not required)

• Tools are NOT required

Pay:

• $45/hr

Work Schedule:

• Must be flexible to work 1 st and 2 nd shift

• Must be open to OT, including some mandatory Saturdays

Placement:

• 12+ month Contract, with strong potential for extension

• We have current contractors that have been out there over 3 years at this point

• There will be opportunities to go direct if you're interested, normally around the 6-month mark

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
