Summary

The Code Enforcement Officer will encourage an engaged, human-centered approach to municipal code compliance and support the City's code compliance program by conducting investigations, preparing notices and reports, and connecting residents with helpful resources. It will also collaborate with a cross-functional team of City staff across multiple departments to ensure a comprehensive, community-focused enforcement process.Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with diverse groups of internal/external stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as mobile devices and applications. Preferred qualifications include three years' experience related to code compliance and enforcement, construction inspection, property maintenance inspection, or a related field and the completion of advanced coursework or professional training/certification related to inspections. Candidates must also have a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.The City provides sick time per MN ESST guidelines and a MN PERA benefit for qualified employees.EOE.#J-18808-Ljbffr
