Police Officer

The City of Buena Park Police Department is seeking qualified pre-trained applicants. This position is open to candidates who have graduated from the police academy but are not currently working as a police officer in a California law enforcement agency. Police officersalary up to $137,467 annually. A 5% salary increase effective July 4, 2026 and a $12,000 signing bonus. Successful pre-training candidates will be paid $4,000 of the signing bonus at the time of hire, $4,000 after completion of a field training program and 12-month probationary period, and $4,000 at the completion of a second year of service.
