Sr. Acquisition Logistician
Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Acquisition Logistician to support the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy at Robins AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
- Support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, EMD, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases, to include all milestone activities.
- Assist with the planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned weapon systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain the system fielding.
- Assist with monitoring functional and organization compliance with milestones and performance criteria.
- Assist in the coordination and integration of taskings.
- Assist in the continuous evaluation of the status and effectiveness of program support in all functional areas to ensure adequate support plans and accurate time phased schedules.
- Assist in the development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans as well as systems acquisition requirements analysis.
- Assist in the management, monitoring, evaluation, and coordination of ILS implementation.
Qualifications: 15+ years experience in acquisitions including at least 5 years working in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
