Our police cadets work hand and hand with MTPD officers on a daily basis and have access to regular ride alongs. The position has been used as a precursor for sponsorship through the police academy and a gateway to full-time employment as a Meridian Township Police Officer. Though not all cadets are awarded sponsorship through the police academy, we have identified cadets that we believe embody what it means to be a Meridian Township Police Officer and awarded sponsorships and full-time positions.
